Taylor began to record ASMR using her phone, and later uploaded the videos on YouTube. PewDiePie featured her in his game video just when she had the 50,000 mark, which was around 1 1/2 months after posting her first video. Taylor quit working in her Youtube channel after two months. There were close to 100,000 subscribers. It was due to technical difficulties and she was overwhelmed. The channel began to produce videos following a one-month break. It included the incredibly famous ASMR Ten Triggers to Help You Sleep. (35,000,000 views as of the end of August, 2022). ASMR 20 Triggers to Help You Sleep, a series of videos aimed at Sleeping, was uploaded in July of 2017 and has since been seen by 38 million viewers. In August 2017, she was featured in the Shane Dawson videoand shortly after she reached one million viewers on YouTube. Wired UK reported that in February of 2019, she was earning $1000 per day from ads on her YouTube channel

Dennis Helfer along with Elaine Helfer are the parents of Helfer. Her parents are of German, English and Swedish heritage. She attended William E. Hay Composite High School situated in Stettler. The three sisters she had, Tammy, Tara and Trena worked and lived on her farm with her family. When she was 17, a modeling scout from an agency discovered Helfer while waiting at the front of a line for entry into a cinema.
